Why did they cancel fruit basket!!!?
I heard they stop doing the anime because it did not follow the manga, in the anime Yuki seems to like Thoru (sp?) and in the manga she ends up with Kyo. So don%26#039;t be sad just read the manga. They might be a second season but they don%26#039;t know yet.

Reply:Because the DVD was like advertising for their anime book. They want you to get the Manga.
Reply:They just haven%26#039;t made a second season... this happens to a lot of anime; the animes stop, but the manga keeps going. You can still read the manga (which is 5 billion times better than the anime)
Reply:They didn%26#039;t cancel the anime, it ended. Why did it end? B/c it was made while the manga was still being published and instead of making a bunch of filler epsiodes a%26#039;la Naruto, they ended it with an ending made up by the company who produced it. The manga was still ongoing at the end of the anime and has since ended at 23 volumes.
