What is the anime fruit basket all about???
It%26#039;s about a young girl called Tohru, whose mother died recently before the manga began. She went to live with her grandfather, but unfortunately she had to move out of his house (he believed that she had a place to go). Since she had nowhere else to go, Tohru squatted on some land owned by the cutest boy at her school Yuki Sohma. She is quickly found out, but they offer her a place to stay in return for keeping house for them.





As she is getting settled a fight breaks out between Yuki %26amp; a mysterious boy (Kyo). Trying to stop the fight, Tohru falls onto Kyo, only for him to turn into a cat. As she then grabs onto Yuki %26amp; his relative Shigure, they also turn into animals.





The rest of the manga surrounds Tohru trying to discover why some people of the Sohma family turn into the animals from the zodiac. Along the way she of course faces opposition from the Sohma family leader, as well as falling in love with multiple boys.





I rather enjoy it. It%26#039;s a cute manga, but it does have a pretty good plot.
